Info and options for Kinman Converge-3 splitting controls

Noiseless split single coil option
  • Firstly, our splitting control includes our pre-set Jangle control which operates on the humbucker sound. This option is not available on the non-noiseless split single coil version.
  • Secondly, the inclusion of our special splitting control is mandatory because the circuitry is complex and is designed into the attached Printed Circuit Board.
  • Thirdly, our rotary control with it’s Push/Push switch can be configured as a Volume control or as a Tone control that operates on the associated pickup. Select the option in the order form.
  • Finally, if you prefer, the splitting control can be a mini-toggle switch with Gold plated contacts which avoid switching noise. Bushing diameter is 6mm but we supply ours with an adaptor bezel for mounting into a 3/8” (9.5mm) hole which is the diameter of American controls.

Non-noiseless split single coil option
  • Firstly, there is no pre-set Humbucker Jangle control with this option.
  • Secondly, the inclusion of our special splitting control is mandatory because the circuitry is complex and is designed into the attached Printed Circuit Board.
