These beautifully designed and beautifully made (outside and inside) sophisticated new breed humbuckers displace old-technology, crude HOT humbuckers that use bothersome ceramic magnets and ugly oversized pole screws. We had our pole screws custom made with a rounded top instead of flat top like all the others. Our smart technology brings massive output voltage increases without the usual pitfalls of HOT pickups such as under-performing dynamics and microphonic squeal.
For pickups so capable of sonic mayhem they sure sound pretty darn agreeable.
All Kinman humbuckers are also now available in 47.5mm pole spreads that provide perfect string-over-pole alignment at the neck position on guitars that are fitted with 52.5mm narrow spaced bridges. Aaand .... most models are available in 53mm pole spreads for the bridge position on guitars that are fitted with 56.4mm spaced vintage Stratocaster bridges. And of course there is our standard 50mm pole spread for everything else.
