Dear Chris. I am so glad I bought your pickups.

My experience with Kinman humbuckers in my Gibsons is simply amazing. I love the sound and the total absence of noise the Extra Vintage Suite produces. When I play in live performances or during recording sessions I always feel comfortable since I am certain of their performance. These Pick ups are without question the best ever. I am really proud to endorse your products.

Installed the Kinman Extra Vintage suite into my Les Paul Standard. The sound is so clear and string balance is just perfect. Even on split coil, they sound great (very little hum). Previously once the AC30 started to clip, the sound lost definition. Now I can get the growl without losing notes. Thanks Chris. These are just brilliant. Regards, Phil Sharp (Australia).

I have the Impersonator 54 and PAF Astound HSS setup fitted in my favourite Parker Nitefly. Wow!! The sound really nails what I was looking for - some authentic bell-like strat tones from the singles along with some player-sensitive creamy bite from the humbucker. The volume balance is just awesome. The guitar sounds like it really should now - incredibly versatile and all round fantastic.

If anybody else should seek advice on doing a Parker Nitefly, you can confidently recommend the setup I've just installed. Thanks for all your help and for a brilliant Aussie product.

I have gigged with my first set of Kinman pickups (Extra Vintage / AVn 59 ?AVn-59) and a K9-H No-Soldering Harness in an HSS Strat. These are, without any shadow of a doubt, the finest pickups I've played in a Strat. Not the finest noiseless - the finest period.

Now I have the dilemma of determining what to order next.

Hi Joe,

my PAF+ humbucker sounds awesome and has just the right amount of cut to get thru a complex mix and the sustain is really impressive. I'm definitely going to develop a love affair with this pickup in the same way I'm in love with your 62 singles !!

I'd also like to say that these pick ups (Extra Vintage neck/ PAF+ bridge) are not just good, they're ****ing amazing.....the three dimensionality and dynamics are incredible. It did take me a wee while to get them dialled in but they are superb I must say, light years beyond any humbucker I have heard thus far.

"Gigged with my new Kinman '62s and Extra Vintage bridge humbucker last night.

I love the sound of these pickups. The humbucker in the K9 harness gives me everything from rock to full-on twang. There is a secret weapon in the humbucker, which is an incredible sounding single coil in split mode.

I've had Kinman pickups in my guitar since 1999, and the new ones are amazing and incredible to play.

Hi, As a start, thanks for some fantastic pickups! I ordered the Extra Vintage Humbucker and combined it with a AVn-69 for the neck position. I have been making my own guitars for some 10years and the one on the attached photo is an all mahogny guitar with your pickups installed. It sounds like a dream and sings for ever!!!!!!!!!!! I have showed it to some good music friends here in Gothenburg and even compared it with Custom Shop Gibsons, Fenders and Suhrs in one of our local music stores. They don't come close to the sound, clearity or sustain!!!! So for my next project, a Telecaster type of guitar, I will go for the Extra Vintage Humbucker again but I would like to combine it with a neck Telecaster pickup.

Hi Chris and the gang.

Thanks heaps for the pickups. Brilliant! I thought my last set of low output pickups sounded great, and these sound even better and are lower output! All the detail is in the sound, the pick attack, the position of the pots, the amp settings, even the effects cut through better! The thing really growls with the gain up and tracks without being mushy. Super dynamic and ultra clear. It has the clarity of the a single coil, but in a humbucker. I love it.

I had Ray install the pickups in Brisbane and he split them too, and the single coil sounds are so sweet! My experience has always sucked when I did this previously.

Top job Chris. These are a very special. I have regularly swapped out the pickups in my guitars, and these are the best I've ever come across. This is a superb thing you have created here.

Hi Chris just wanted to let you know I received the PAF+ humbuckers.

What I've used in the past are Lollar, Seth Lover, Gibson T top, Dimarzio, Tokai Stock Pickups, and other Seymour Duncan but there is definitely something in the PAF+ that has caught my ear.

My gosh you sure have the science down, and then the ear to boot.

I want to tell you how blown away I am by the Extra Vintage humbuckers that I had fitted to my Overwater; to be honest, I expected the result to be fairly subtle, instead it has completely opened up the sound of the guitar – it actually has a twang now, as any electric guitar should! I did suspect for many years that the original Bill Lawrence humbuckers it was originally fitted with were letting it down.

Hi, I thought you might like my impression of the pickup so far. It's medium output and matches very well with my 62 singles. The wound strings have the perfect balance of bite and warmth and the same can be said of the plain strings. Sustain is very impressive.

In split mode is gives a beautiful " quack " when mixed with the mid 62 and I'd like to suggest offering a set comprised of a PAF+ and 2 x 62 singles in your product range as an incredibly versatile all round set.

I've now used mine in the studio and on stage. My Anderson guitar has a mini toggle to split the PAF and a push pull on the tone knob to add it with the neck single and I can get a hot Strat as well as a really convincing Tele tone by pulling the toggle, INCREDIBLE !!!!

I received my new PAF+ pickups and had them installed in a Gibson ES-137 to replace the original way too hot 490 and 498. The difference is night and day - your pickups are everything claimed and a pretty but average sounding guitar now has the voice it always should have. As much as I bought the pickups to improve cleans just on the edge of break-up, which has happened in spades, what amazes me is the way it handles high-gain now; complex yet clear notes with a fantastic harmonic signature. It's now one of my favourite guitars.

Hi at Kinman, I recieved and fitted 2 Extra Vintage pickups to my owned since new 1978 Les Paul custom, and it seems to me with the kinmans it has the tone its supposed to have. After having kinmans installed in my strats and tele, the les paul fitted with seymore duncan alnico pro 11s sounded dull and muddy, not any more. I now have some very musical instruments, thanks to kinman. I play music in 4 different original bands in my home town, my guitars all cut through very clear comparitive to others. keep up the good work, regards Mike Kirk
