Traditional Mk-IV SET

I am EXTREMELY happy with the Mark IV set I installed in an old 82 Made in Japan Charvel with the stratocaster headstock, and it has done many tours of duty and is beautifully battered and roadworn.

Anyhoo now with the Mark IVs fitted it is simply fantastic. I went to bed very late last nigh rocking out on it. I haven't been playing single coil guitars for many years, but this guitar has given me a lot of pleasure already, This is the best Strat sound I have ever heard, full of character and plenty of power in the bridge and it really is a bloody gem. Can you relay my absolute delight in these pickups to Chris.

UPDATE Dec-2019:  The Traditional Mark 4s continue to impress. Oh my dog what a fantastic guitar it turned out to be.  I called a friend over who is a strat player and plugged him in through my Fractal Audio rig. We both agreed it was the best strat sounds we had ever heard. He has taken it home and has promised to write a brief review.

I found all 5 positions had a number of tonal characteristics that are simply inspirational to play. I found a lovely balanced EQ across the pickups that made it easy to make amp settings that worked for all 5 positions. The cleans are so nice I found myself pulling back the gain a couple of notches on a few presets just so I could retain more of the delicious tonal characteristics in the overdriven settings.

There are really unique things going on in the sound of these pickups that are totally addictive in all 5 positions. Everyone who has played this guitar goes off into another zone and without a doubt the word INSPIRATION is assured when the sound is so special. Of course a quiet strat makes the experience even more unique. Extremely satisfying. I cant put it any simpler than that.

Thank you Joe and Chris.  You guys work hard with spirit and dedication and integrity. This does not go by unnoticed.  You are talented and motivated men and you understand the importance of perspiration and inspiration. Most importantly you conduct yourselves with grace and affability. It seems to be a forgotten accolade in the modern world but real men are gentlemen.  All the best to you two gentlemen, regards Paul
