Which Strat pickup works best with these humbuckers (HSS / HSH)?
These suggested HSS combinations have easily balanced loudness (with small height adjustments). If it's not listed it probably won't balance easily but may balance with exaggerated height adjustments.

Knopfler to dirty growl with the flick of the switch: Thanks to new technology the new Texas Jalapeno Strat model has such surprisingly high output it balances perfectly in the neck with a PAF type bridge humbucker in the bridge. Only now is it possible to have maximum versatility of authentic vintage Strat sounds and humbucker sounds from one guitar with all sounds having balanced output level. This is absolutely remarkable because it means you can switch from authentic notch sound of position 4 (Knopfler-esque sound) to balls-to-the-wall humbucker growl with the flick of the selector switch .... and have balanced output levels .... without having to change setting on your amp.
NOTE-1: Humbuckers sound their best with a 500k Volume pot and Strat pickups sound their best and our K5-H and K9-H Goodbye-Soldering Harness for Strat HSS and HSH automatically provide the correct loads for each type of pickup, same for Telecaster Harness TK9.
NOTE-2: The K5-H is for non splitting bridge humbucker such as a P90-Bucker or Twang-Bucker & the K9-H is for splittable humbuckers.
NOTE-3: If a pickguard is fitted (for example Fender Strat Deluxe and Elite) a small modification to the pickguard opening to accommodate a Kinman humbucker is well worth the effort since Kinman's sound so much better.
